Welcome to TSC Oslo
Building on our home base in Girona, Spain, we are delighted to be taking up residence in Oslo, Norway from November 2019. Oslo is host to some of the worlds premier gravel riding, with thousands of kilometers of pristine gravel trails meandering through stunning pine forests, past hundreds of fresh water lakes to vistas like no other. It is no exaggeration to say the region surrounding Oslo is one of the world’s most beautiful locations in which to ride a bike...
For 2020 we are excited to show local and international guests why we chose Norway to be our next base. We will be offering multi-day gravel tours throughout the summer, as well as exclusive bike rental, distinctive kit and an extraordinary retail experience. Along with this, custom bike builds will be a core part of our business, utilising the skill and craftsmanship we’ve come to love from our partners at TSC Girona. Hand built frames by Speedvagen, Belle Cycles, Legor Cicli, Argonaut, Bastion Cycles and Isen Workshop will help bring your dream bike to life. Other partners will include ENVE Composites, Pas Normal Studios, Velocio, Sweet Protection and HEXR.
The TSC Oslo project is being spearheaded by Oslo locals Jonas Stromberg and Henrik Orre in partnership with Norwegian professional cyclist Edvald Boasson Hagen, all under the creative vision of Christian and Amber Meier; founders of The Service Course Girona and La Fabrica Girona.
TSC Oslo will officially be open from Saturday November 9, and we’d love you to come help us celebrate!
Doors will be open from 10am until 4pm, with Edvald Boasson Hagen in the shop throughout the day to talk you through our plans for the coming year.
On Sunday November 10 we will be hosting a two-hour social gravel ride. Meeting at the shop for coffee at 10am and rolling at 11am, we will ride a beautiful local loop before returning to the shop for food afterwards. Everybody is invited and we hope to see you there!
RIDES AND EVENTS
In 2020 we’ll be hosting a range of rides, get-togethers and events based out of TSC Oslo. Our focus will be gravel, but with a multitude of stunning roads to be ridden in the hills around the city there will be something for the skinny-tyre folk as well.
Coming to Norway for a holiday and want to do a multi-day trip? We’ll be hosting those too!
Our philosophy has always been to provide an exceptional experience to all our customers. Whether you come to us to build your dream bike or want to wear the most high performance cycling kit on offer, we will be here for you. Services we offer at TSC Oslo include:
- Professional bike mechanics
- An indoor training studio with bikes linked to Zwift
- Showers and locker storage for guests
- Local knowledge on where to ride
- Custom bike builds for both gravel and road
- Bike wash facility
- A premium retail space with cycling’s nicest products
Whether you’ve lived in Oslo your whole life or have never been to Norway before, we guarantee there’s something new we can show you. We’ll be running 4 and 6 day tours throughout the summer, with breakfast each morning at La Fabrica Oslo (opening early 2020) and guided rides each day by our local team.
Let us take you on an authentic Norwegian adventure; to lunch cooked on an open fire overlooking one of Oslo’s many fresh water lakes. Or gravel riding in untouched forest known only to those who’ve been exploring here for 20 years. Dates to be announced soon…
La Fabrica Oslo
Coming early 2020, La Fabrica Oslo will be spearheaded by Oslo local, author and ex-Team Sky chef, Henrik Orre. Offering the same delicious and healthy lunch options available at La Fabrica Girona, along with world-class specialty coffee, La Fabrica Oslo will be something new for the area and is sure to tickle a few tastebuds!
We look forward to welcoming you for a meal and a coffee once we’re up and running!
