FUNDACIÓN ESTEBAN CHAVES - MULTIPLYING SMILES
Esteban Chaves is famous for not only his electrifying performances on the bike but his passion, positivity and that infectious smile too of course. His foundation - also known as FUN Chaves - has two components both geared towards changing the lives of kids in his home country of Colombia.
One provides the opportunities and support for talented young cyclists to make it to the top level in the sport. The other is a medical program funding orthopedic operations for kids to dramatically improve their quality of life.
To date, they have successfully fast-tracked two young riders into the WorldTour (Santiago Buitrago at Bahrain Victorious and Einer Rubio at Movistar) and funded over 30 life changing operations - but they are just getting started.
The FUN Chaves motto is Multiplying Smiles and their passionate team welcome you to their headquarters in Bogota with the words Donde Viven Los Sueños (Where Dreams Live) above the door. We could not think of a better expression of their inspiring work and are proud to support FUN Chaves with this very special fundraising project.
THE COLOURFUL CROCODILE - DESIGNED BY SAMUEL AND VALENTINA
Proudly introducing the Colourful Crocodile - a very special edition fundraising jersey created in collaboration between The Service Course and Fundación Esteban Chaves (FUN Chaves).
Commissioned by Esteban himself, who better to take care of the design than the dream team of Samuel (10) and Valentina (6) who have both received orthopedic surgeries funded by FUN Chaves.
Available for both men and women, all proceeds from the jersey sales go directly to FUN Chaves to continue their inspiring work, with further donations directly to FUN Chaves via their website extremely welcome.
