We are delighted to officially welcome Rizzo Cycles to The Service Course. Rubén’s beautiful bikes have been on our radar since forever. And as fate would have it, he was the very first special guest builder suggested by ENVE whilst brainstorming the inaugural GiRodeo event that took place in Girona at the end of last year. The rest, as they say, is history.

Rizzo models include options on and off road, always with custom geo and often with original paint concepts. Each frame is made to order, with the lead times as little as six weeks (depending on the specific build requirements).

We’re super excited to add Rizzo to our small army of world-class framebuilders, and can’t wait to build up a whole bunch of his bikes in the coming months. 

“I started building frames because as Sound Engineer in films and commercials shootings, I have never had a fixed schedule. With lots of free days, I felt the need to fill them by doing something useful, fulfilling and self-made. I did not know what I was getting myself into. I started making bikes for me and my friends. Taking some tubes and turning them into a bike is magical, building your own bike is awesome, but building bikes for others and seeing their joy riding them is unbeatable. I firmly believe that nowadays we can learn to do anything by ourselves, you just have to work hard.

I don’t have a master, but every frame builder I have seen, read about, or met has taught me something. Some of them have helped me a lot, and a couple have become great friends. Going into framebuilding hasn’t been easy, but I am sure it’s the best thing I’ve done in my entire life. After more than 6 years and almost a hundred frames built I have made a living out of this.
